Post-Publication Policy

Withdrawal

Authors are expected to submit manuscripts that are final and intend to proceed to publication. Withdrawal requests disrupt this process and consume valuable editorial resources. Therefore, withdrawal is only permitted under specific circumstances. Accepted manuscripts cannot be withdrawn without editorial approval. Authors should consult the journal’s full Withdrawal Policy on the website for detailed procedures, conditions, and expectations.

Article Corrections (Errata & Corrigenda)
Minor errors that do not affect the scientific integrity of the work—such as typographical mistakes, author affiliation updates, or minor factual clarifications—may be corrected through an official notice. Corrections are published promptly, linked to the original article, and indexed to ensure readers are aware of the updated information.

Retractions & Expressions of Concern
In cases where significant problems are identified—such as data fabrication, plagiarism, unethical research practices, or major methodological errors—the journal may issue a retraction or an expression of concern. These actions follow COPE guidelines and are taken to protect the integrity of the scientific record.

Post-Publication Comments & Letters
Readers may submit Letters to the Editor or formal comments addressing the content of a published article. These may highlight interpretational concerns, propose alternative viewpoints, or offer additional context. Accepted letters are peer-reviewed and published with a direct link to the original article

Post-Publication Peer Review

GVR welcomes constructive critiques and scientific discussions that arise after publication. Substantive post-publication reviews or expert analyses may be considered for publication as Commentaries or invited responses, ensuring continuous scholarly dialogue and transparency.
