Welcome to Global Virology Reports (GVR) (“the Journal”), published by IAA Academic Arena Ltd (“the Publisher,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the GVR website, services, and content. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.

1. About the Publisher

Global Virology Reports is published by IAA Academic Arena Ltd, a company duly registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria and engaged in academic publishing and scholarly support services.

The Publisher provides the administrative, technical, and publishing infrastructure for the journal. Editorial decisions are made independently by the journal’s Editors in accordance with established scholarly and ethical standards.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to all users of the GVR website, including but not limited to:

These Terms should be read alongside other journal policies, including the Author Guidelines, Editorial Policies, Publication Ethics Statement, Open Access Policy, and Privacy Policy, all of which form an integral part of the journal’s governance framework.

You agree to use the GVR website lawfully and responsibly. Users must not:

GVR is a fully open access journal, and all articles published in the journal are made immediately and permanently available online without subscription or access barriers. Authors retain full copyright to their work and grant GVR the right to publish the article under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

Under the CC BY 4.0 license, published articles may be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, shared, adapted, and reused for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source. The applicable license information is clearly indicated on each published article.

5. Manuscript Submission and Publication

Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee acceptance or publication. All submissions are subject to:

·       Initial editorial screening

·       Independent peer review

·       Editorial decision-making based on scholarly merit

Publication decisions are based solely on the quality, originality, relevance, and ethical integrity of the work. Payment of any applicable article processing charges (APCs) does not influence editorial decisions or peer-review outcomes.

Authors are solely responsible for:

·       The accuracy and integrity of their work

·       Compliance with ethical and legal requirements

·       Securing necessary permissions

·       Proper acknowledgment of sources and contributions

6. Peer Review and Editorial Independence

Global Virology Reports maintains strict editorial independence. The Editors are solely responsible for publication decisions.

The Publisher does not:

·       Influence editorial judgments

·       Override peer-review outcomes

·       Interfere in ethical investigations

The journal adheres to recognized best practices in scholarly publishing and follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in handling ethical issues.
